Tech Field Day Exclusive At Intel Data-Centric Innovation Day

March 30, 2019 by Nathaniel Avery in Conferences

On Tuesday April 2, Intel will host an event called the Data-Centric Innovation Day.  Not much is known about the content of the event.  There’s been some speculation as to what will be announced, however, Intel could go in lots of different directions due to the breadth of their product portfolio.

The official word from Intel’s press release says a lot without giving away very much.

“Navin Shenoy, executive vice president and general manager of Intel’s  data center group, and Lisa Spelman, vice president and general manager  of Intel® Xeon® products, will share the latest platform innovations  across Intel’s data-centric businesses related to breakthroughs in  processing, memory and storage, and connectivity technologies, in  addition to advancements in high-growth areas, such as artificial  intelligence and cloud-ready networks.“

Tech Field Day will be there covering the event.  I’ll be there along with my fellow delegates attempting to get as much info about whatever it is we see and then providing some context as to what that means for the broader IT landscape.
